Privacy notice

Last updated 1 November 2026

This notice explains what personal data the Equations Work website (eqw.ai) collects, why, where it is kept, and the choices and rights you have. We collect as little as we need: what you choose to send us, and — only with your permission — anonymous-by-design measurements of how the site is used.

1. Who we are

The website is operated by Equations Work, A G Trade Centre, NDA – Pashan Road, Bavdhan, Pune 411021, Maharashtra, India (“we”, “us”). We decide how and why your personal data is processed on this site and are responsible for it (the “data fiduciary” under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the “controller” under the EU and UK GDPR).

For any privacy question, request or grievance, write to info@eqw.io with “Privacy” in the subject line.

2. What we collect

When you use the contact form

When you apply for a job

When you allow analytics

Only if you choose Accept analytics, Google Analytics records how the site is used: pages and rooms viewed, items opened (such as a product or case study), buttons used, approximate location (country and city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived (for example, a search engine or LinkedIn). See section 4.

When you email us

If you write to info@eqw.io, we receive your message and email address through our email provider (Microsoft 365).

What we do not collect

No payment details, no account registration, no advertising or cross-site tracking, and no sale of personal data.

4. Cookies and analytics

The first time you visit, a notice asks whether we may count your visit. Your choice is stored in your browser (local storage key eqw-consent) so we don’t ask again; that storage is strictly necessary and is not used to identify you. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the foot of every page.

We use Google Consent Mode. Until you accept, Analytics stores no cookies; Google may receive basic, cookieless signals (such as that a page was loaded) without an identifier, which it uses only to produce aggregated estimates. Advertising storage, ad personalisation and ad user-data signals are always off on this site. If you decline after previously accepting, we delete the Analytics cookies from your browser.

5. Where data is stored and who processes it

These providers act on our instructions under their own data-processing terms. Where data leaves India or your country, we rely on those providers’ contractual safeguards. Within Equations Work, enquiries and applications are visible only to staff we have specifically authorised.

6. How long we keep it

7. Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, to correct or update it, or to delete it, and you can withdraw your consent to analytics at any time with Cookie settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place.

In India, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you also have the right to grievance redressal and to nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

In the EU, EEA or UK, you also have the rights to restrict or object to processing and to data portability, and to complain to your local data-protection authority.

To exercise any right, email info@eqw.io. We may need to confirm it’s you before acting. We aim to respond within 30 days.

8. Security

The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS. Enquiries, applications and resumes are stored where they cannot be reached from browsers at all; it is accessed only through our server, and only by staff who sign in with Microsoft Entra ID and have been granted a specific role. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we review these controls as the site evolves.

9. Children

This website is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes and contact

We will update this notice when our practices change and revise the date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
